Bosch Service Centre - Jacob lies on lies

Started off giving good service with clear communication from November 2024 when our jeep renegade had to be booked in with them for boost problems. Jacob’s service was good but subsequently started ignoring my calls. Upon reaching him he told me that he had 18 cars that needed his attention to be completed before their close down for the Dec 2024 break. I personally went and made sure that everything in terms of payments / order number for the claim get submitted on the 13 Dec 2024 to try to ensure that we get our vehicle back before closing.

Jacob then said he already had the turbo sent it for the repair and the turbo is done. He would need to collect the turbo from turbo excellence upon making payment to allow them to release the turbo. After making sure that the payment aspects are taking Carew of, I was informed that turbo excellence has closed for the Dec 2024 holiday period and they are trying to g to get someone to open the shop to hand over the fixed turbo. Jacob from Bosch Honeydew reported that he instructed turbo excellence to complete the repairs even prior to receiving payment. He even indicated that his driver went to turbo excellence’s workshop and waiting for someone to go and assist him. Nothing came from this and I was not given an update on this **** story.

Today, I called turbo excellence just to be told that no work was done on this turbo and that repairs will now only commence upon receipt of payment from Bosch.

Now that I am asking Jacob from Bosch when the vehicle will be done, he could not even give me a direct answer. Jacob keeps telling me about being busy with other insurers so he’ll get back to me about our car like we are not part of the customer vehicles that needs to be attended to.

We have been having issues with this car since purchasing in Nov 2024 and only had the pleasure of using it for 2 weeks at most.

Even though Jacob said the turbo was already repaired prior to closing in Dec 2024, it has still not been done and his attitude is giving that it’s my word against your word. I will NEVER ever use these guys again as even now we have no idea as to when our vehicle will be done.
