"Bosch Car Service: because your car wasn't broken enough already"
Guys, rather don’t bring your car here. I only brought my car here because Citton covers repairs in the first 3000km, and it seems they sold me a fixer upper.
In this country, there are many skilled and hardworking people. Bosch employs none of them.
I brought my newly bought car in because the car would lose power and stall in second gear, but could take a circle in 3rd gear. Anyone with a license knows that’s probably not shap. Pulling away in 1st also made the car sound like it was begging for help.
The mechanic, Willem Fourie, decided lube was what the car needed, and gooied gearbox oil and called it a day. After 3-4 days I came to collect the car and nothing had changed. Well no, the car did come back with new scratches and a dent in the front right bumper.
I asked Jaco, the customer service oak, to get in the car with me so that I could show him that lube did not fix the issues.
He agreed that the car has not been fixed, and that I should bring it back on Monday.
Please keep in mind, this is an hour round trip for me each time.
I brought the car back on Monday hoping they would actually fix something this time. A week later, Jaco called me to let me know that the car was being sent to a gearbox specialist. They had the car for 2 weeks, and then told me it would be ready on Monday. Because of my previous experience with them, I thought it was best to call. Thank God I did. Surprise, the car was not ready. Apparently there was something wrong on the invoice and my car could not be released.
I fetched my car 2 days later, and until today I’m still waiting for this mysterious and elusive invoice. They also won’t provide me with anything showing the work that they have done on the car.
They really said double it and give it to the next one when it comes to the scratches and dents on this car.
Now they want me to take the car back so that they can fix the outside, but I know that if I take it back it will be the Rihanna to their Chris Brown.
No thank you.
Key points, 2nd gear now works, 1st gear still scratches, and Bosch did not actually fix anything they outsourced.
