Dear Bosch.

On the 2nd of may 2019 I received a quote from you around the mentioned fiat palio reg number npn54202 doc doc***.pdf attached. In this no mention of any faults within the engine pressure or leaking oil onto the plugs as you now mention and was starting ok, the car was diagnosed with various descriptions of works required. The car had no issues with starting and was firing on all 4 cylinders. Work was then carried out at your Pinetown branch on fitting a water bottle, tappet cover gasket, cambelt and welch plug. After receiving the car back after the tappet cover gasket works where carried out I discovered that the Tappet cover was not fastened down correctly and brought it back to you. You then charged me for someone to come out and a thread repair was carried out. Surely your mechanic should of pointed this out and then I should have been notified about this before me having to find the issue myself. After work was carried out I discovered now that the car is misfiring, I brought it into you and you told me that one of the fuel injectors is not working, I then brought the car in on Monday 9th September 2019 which in the morning started after a few weeks of being stood. No overheating problems or starting issues where experienced before you replaced the fuel injector. Along with this you replaced the Spark Plugs, You initially did not quote me or advise me that you wanted to fit new spark plugs. On the 11th September 2019 I received the car and after around 3 minutes of driving the car it overheated and would not start. I called your office to tell you and let the car cool down, I then called twice after that to tell you that there is not water in the car and that after trying to put water in the car in was running straight out. Please see attached photos. You and your mechanic turned up and had to jump start the car and then your mechanic took it back to your workshop. Upon your checks you discovered and told me that the welsh plug fitted by you had come out. You tell me now that there is oil leaking on to the new plugs fitted, you fitted new plugs without even telling me or quoting me on these to be fitted. Additionally to that your guy over the phone starts telling me now about many other issues the car has and that the head gasket has a problem. I am sure that the head gasket was affected by you guys not checking the cooling system levels. Referring to again your quote doc***.pdf and invoices I have paid which states you have billed me for coolant and a new water bottle. My concern is that nothing of this nature about the car overheating or not starting was experienced before your mechanics started working on the car. You are now saying that you have put some powder in the engine to stop all these issues over too much pressure etc, surely part of fitting all these new parts at my expense should of resolved any issues with the cars cooling system? Not for you to just put some powder in, you know this will not last long! Putting some powder or whatever you put in there is surely now going to resolve the issue regarding over heating and misfiring and oil getting into the plugs? I am holding you responsible for the overheating damage to any part of the vehicle by simply not correctly checking the coolant you charged me for. I need you to inspect at your own cost all the internal issues within the vehicles engine, head gasket, rings pistons any other element of the vehicle that would have been affected by the car overheating. Then you need to repair, replace at your own cost.
