Dog in restaurant

I have a Saturday tradition where I stop off for a takeaway coffee at bootleggers in Greenpoint Cape Town. While ordering my coffee i noticed a patron with a dog in the restaurant with him. I objected to this as i refuse to eat from an establishment that allows animals, known carries of transmit able illness and disease to be in the same space as people. The patron who had the dog proceeded to laugh at me for my objection. I approached the manager who noted that the patron is allowed to bring the animal in there as he is dad of the year.. My issue is number one having an animal in a place serving food is grossly unhygienic and massively inconsiderate. Further to this i feel a certain racial population group is being preferred over the other. Had it been a person of colour with an animal would they have been allowed in? Why was my concern as a person of colour not addressed in a more decisive matter . I felt my concerns were not taken seriously and this as a result of the colour of my skin
