Get back to me, Boomerang!

I am totally disappointed with the way Boomerang Marketing (BM) has handled my query brought to their attention on the 23rd July 2020. In early 2019 I was approached Boomerang Marketing who sold me a vehicle cover policy from First for Women (FFW). Even though I was interested, there was a technical glitch in the process which resulted in me eventually not signing up for the contract because my Vehicle Inspection could not be finalised. I then decided to stick with my current Insurer after it became apparent that the FFW deal would fall off. However, last month I discovered that FFW had been deducting instalments from my husband's account since last year for the very same cover that we had not concluded on. I then called FFW and they told me since I was introduced to them by BM the broker, they had to hand me over to BM to deal with the query. Then a BM consultant called me on the 24th July and after listening to my explanation, she told me the deductions were made in error and asked me if she should cancel the policy with immediate effect, which I agreed to and it was done promptly. She told me that it was unfortunate that the July instalment had already been deducted but not to worry, it would be part of the refund. She then asked me to get my policy schedule and history from my current insurer to prove that we have been paying twice for the same cars because according to her words, 'South African Insurance Regulations' do not allow for two policies to be paid for the same cover and thus if I submit those we would get our refund. I promptly sent those docs in the same day within an hour or 2 of her call. She then sent a confirmation email to say she had received the docs and said she would appretiate it if I could rate her service. In my response I told her I was really impressed with her promptness so far but would only rate her service once the matter has been effectively dealt with. Well, I haven't heard from her ever since. My calls to the Boomerang office have not gone through. No answer received On the 29th July I sent an email to FFW alerting them that Boomerang has gone awol on me and since they were doing business that benefited FFW, I need them to step in and help. They didn't return my email. I then decided to call FFW a few days later to follow up on my unattended email and I was told that they had also been waiting for BM's correspondence regarding progress on my matter but BM hadnt contacted them. I told the consultant that FFW was the principal beneficiary of the monies *******ly drawn from me and I expect them to handle my case going forward. I told them I was going to send my complaints to Hellopeter if they continued to ignore me and the consultant told me she was escalating my query to FFW management. It's about 3 weeks after I contacted both companies and none of them have come back to me with a way forward. So, as much as this review is for BM, I have a thought to duplicate it and also publish the same for FFW.
