************ practices by this short term credit provider

During a time of financial instability last year I took out temporary loans from Boodle on a monthly basis for a few months. Over the past 10 months I have made sure I pay all of my accounts on time and for some reason have not been able to obtain credit from anyone and, until now, could not figure out why. I was informed today by Absa that Boodle have still not, since August last year, updated my credit profile to reflect that my account with Boodle was paid up, event though I paid them in full and haven't used them since August!

They are clearly doing this so that I am forced to continue using them and cannot credit at a reasonable interest rate from elsewhere. This is a disgusting practice and these people should not be allowed to operate in this country! I am convinced that this was done intentionally as I have seen the exact same thing on my profile from Wonga, their competitor (Which I will write a separate review for).
