Boodle loan: apply for loans and do credit checks without consent

I have been a customer for years. But recently their tactics are questionable. They have been spamming me and calling me all month for a loan application. This morning I responded to *** that I do not want loan offers and asked to be removed from their mailing list. I later received a call from them offering a loan again. I declined again and asked them to stop contacting me. However, I received an SMS now telling me my application was unsuccessful, but I didn't consent to apply for any loan. Meaning they probably did a credit check. They are messing up my credit profile.
