Warning to all potential BMW buyers, DON'T BUY A BMW!

Warning to all potential BMW buyers, the best advice we can offer is... DON'T BUY A BMW! Our BMW 320i (F30) We purchased new at Auric Auto, at 75000km the camshaft snapped, it was fixed under warranty by BMW, the car is always serviced at BMW, We recently encountered a problem under acceleration, the car showed a "Drivetrain error" we took the car in to BMW (Auric Auto) we firstly dealt with a very antagonizing service consultant by the name of Zeehaad Lakay (Auric Auto needs to seriously reconsider having a person like that dealing with customers) We will get back to Zeehaad again. Anyway, the car is now on 107000km, and apparently the turbo is busted. Auric Auto quoted R37000 to repair it. The car is just out of warranty, and now its turbo is bust???? We paid around R480k for this car, and quite frankly we cannot say it was trouble free motoring. Still cannot quite digest this, R480k for a car that barely gave us 100000km of driving. And then to top it all off, we get a consultant that seemed to enjoy telling us how *****ed we are.... and that BMW has zero interest in appeasing their client apart from us handing over R37k. We feel cheated... and done in by BMW, BMW would like us to believe we are just having bad luck. Our first BMW and also most likely, our last BMW. Its not the fact that the car broke, its just that we can remember how well we were treated when we went to go buy our new BMW....they bent over backwards to conclude the sale. And Wow! The contrast to how we were treated today. We could not be "shooshed" out of the dealership fast enough. You have been warned...

BMW SA has not responded at all. Not even a whisper of a response, a total lack of interest to a client who bought a brand new BMW from them. I urge potential buyers to think twice before considering buying a BMW. We are certainly done BMW. Just the disinterest, that's the nail in the coffin!

BMW SA rep****, to me, the turbo on a BMW F30 seized at 106000 km (6000km out of warranty) BMW SA feels that its "wear and tear" they are not interested in offering a goodwill repair (neither contribution to repair) Seriously? A seized turbo on their product at 106000km "normal wear and tear"???? Also when mentioning to the service consultant at Auric Auto that the cam snapped at 75000km (fixed under warranty) and now a seized turbo? He says "thats quite good service for a BMW" BMW, get your **** together and try and atleast make you cars a little more reliable... look at KIA, Hyundai, Toyota.... instead of trying to make me believe that 2 two MAJOR breakdowns within 106000km is not at all bad... as a matter of fact, "thats quite good service for a BMW" Essentially, you dupe your customers into believing that you sell great cars... and great service. Bull****!

Anyway. We have replaced the turbo of the BMW mentioned here out of our pockets. Then, not surprisingly, 3 months ago the engine seized... Paid R60k to have it repaired. For the last few weeks we have been looking at purchasing a new vehicle. Of course, I decided not to even consider a BMW, (too much arrogance from Auric auto and BMW SA.)
Unbelievably, my wife wanted to buy another BMW. I reminded her of what we have been through with Auric auto and BMW SA. Anyway
Long and short, a goodwill repair on that seized turbo would have gone a long way... Anyway, we are happy with our new purchase, Mercedes Benz got another ex BMW driver.
