Vehicle corrosian

<p>I would like to to warn all people living at the coast who are or thinking of buying a BMW who live at the coast, to think twice before purchasing a BMW. I have a 2013, 320i BMW (Estorial Blue) with 48141 km on the clock. All 4 of my mag rims are rusting and the clear coat on the bonnet and bumper is pealing off. I took the vehicle in to BMW and the reginal manager for the Eastern Cape said theres nothing they can do, i was then told by BMW in East London to contact the head office and this was the reply: Your vehicle is out of the the corrosian warranty after 2 years and living at the coast can cause that to your mag rims as for the body work, it could be due to the chemical i wash my vehicle with, well im son sorry to say this about Shield products but it seems BMW is blaming you as i only wash my vehicle with Shield wash and wax since i bought it from BMW. I think this is bad from BMW considering what we pay for a BMW. I have never heard of or seen another vehicles clear coat start peeling off after 4 years. BMW what happend to your name and customer care service, i will never recomend anyone to by a BMW again its a waiste of money. My husband drives a 2013 Ford Ranger and his mags are not rusting nor is his clear coat peeling off. Congrats to Ford.</p>
