Unreliability on BMW sunroof

I’ve just experienced something weird yesterday 27/12/2023. I was driving and I heard a very loud bang(not of the object) and my sunroof just shattered into pieces. It looks like it exploded from the inside. I contacted BMW SA customer service about the issue and i was told that glass is not covered in a motor plan so since the vehicle is a 2020 model(more than 2years) not even warranty can assist. My issue is that it cant be right that you purchase a vehicle and 3years down the line the sunroof shatters without being tampered with and on the cloudy day. What makes matters worse, they indicated to be aware of this issues since there is number of "but few" customers who have complained about this, i also saw on some facebook and internet pages, yet they, BMW, do not want to take accountability
