Terrible Service from BMW

I'm taking this matter to Facebook because no one is answering my email.

I own a BMW 118i and under a year ago, I took my car into Sandton Auto to have a regular service while my car was under motorplan. Shortly after that service, my car began experiencing oil leakage issues. My car would leak oil only while driving and not while the car was stationery. I had my car looked at again by mechanics at the Sandton Auto, and they suspected it was the vacuum pump and they replaced that, also while my car was still under motorplan.

The attendant advised me to drive the car for another 5000km and see if I would experience any issues. I had not experienced any issues during that period, only after the 5000km did my oil start leaking again. This time my car was already out of motorplan. I was advised by the employees at Sandton Auto to just refill my oil every time the oil is low, which I did several times. The oil leak became more frequent and I was starting to buy oil refills for my car almost every month.

On the evening of Sa****ay the 14th of May, my car was spewing out more oil. My boyfriend, who knows how to service cars had a look at it and found that my car was spewing oil. We added in more oil and monitored the situation. On Monday the 16th of May, while driving, my car began to warn me that there was very low oil in my car. Even while stationery, my car was spewing out oil. I had almost next to no oil in my engine.

After towing my car back home, I had my boyfriend have a look at it and we found that the sump plug had no gasket the whole time. My boyfriend could turn the sump plug loose with his own hands. The source of the oil leak was from the sump plug.

I am appalled and angered by the negligence of the mechanics at Sandton Auto. I do not fully understand how a mechanic could forget to place a gasket/copper ring onto the sump plug. To me, this seems very malicious, it was done on purpose. Even after I took my car in to be looked at, they never checked the sump plug or did, but left it without a gasket. What if my car had bearing knocked and I needed to replace the entire engine? It would have bearing knocked, not because of me, but because of the negligence of the mechanics at Sandton Auto, and I would have to pay the price.

I am also appalled at the fact that BMW Sandton Auto did not fill in my service book every time my car went in for a service. I had only found this out yesterday when I wanted to look at service history after finding the problem with my sump plug.

As a woman who doesn't have an in depth knowledge about the process, I trusted that Sandton Auto would advise me correctly and make sure all the necessary procedures are followed, as I am not aware of them.

I am angered by the negligence of the mechanics and the attendents at Sandton Auto. I feel as though I cannot trust anyone that works there because I was not properly helped, even while my car was under motorplan. The actions of everyone there seemed very malicious to me, something I would not expect from BMW.

After this saga, I refuse to ever buy another BMW in the future. I do not trust that employees will handle my car accordingly. I also advise that other people don't even think about buying a BMW because the service from you guys is truly angering.

UPDATE:

UPDATE:

I had BMW call me and I spoke to a man named Lawrence. He told me that my car needs an oil top up approximately every 1000 km. He said that its perfectly normal for cars to have an oil top up before the services. This doesn't make sense to me. Never in my experience of driving have I ever heard of this. During the phone call, he also stated that there is no way my car could have stayed so long with the sump plug in the car without the washer (I drove my car for 2 years after the service with oil leak issues, which is apparently normal, before my car gushed out all the oil). He went on to say he consulted with qualified BMW mechanics and they confirmed this information. He told me that what happened to my car is impossible, it should have leaked out all the oil way before. I told him that it is possible since it did happen to me, and he continued to dismiss my claims. He then told me I should have contacted them before making my Facebook post, when I did 4 days ago. He then ended the call by telling me that he will investigate why my email wasn't responded to. I am disappointed by the way the issue was handled. The point is, my car had an issue and it was not resolved.
