Shame on you BMW South Africa!

<p>As a big fan of BMW it's painful for me to have to write this but seriously how do you justify charging over R4000 for a parking light and H7 globe replacement? I understand the low new car sales aren't good for your high overheads but it's plain disgusting that you choose to project this to your few out of motorplan customers at ludicrous proportions. As I wasn't prepared for such a shock i was forced to decline the quote but sadly still had to pay R1100 with no work done besides an alleged "inspection" of the circuitry which I never asked for and the car wash. So I then decide to do this job myself and here is what hurt me the most, it cost me only a trip to goldwagen, less than R200 and 15mins of my time to get the lights back in order. Granted I accept the argument of different brands, different suppliers etc. etc. but it still puzzles me, how do you BMW South Africa find it ethical to throw such ridiculous margins on your customers?</p>
