Service Quality

Good day

I am writing this email in connection to the service quality i have received thus far from BMW.

i joined the BMW family mid this year in June when i purchased the 3-series g20 330i Msport at Mafikeng (DADA motors) trading in my Audi. The service i received during purchase was great until i left the dealership where i was not given the spare key, so to this day i do not have a spare key for the vehicle, I was also promised a trade in deal assistance of R25,000.00 prior to collection of the vehicle and yet again i still have not received that payment. I have called the dealership in numerous occasions, i was promised payment and the delivery of my spare key but yet have not received any of the 2. Please assist with this matter.

On the 19th of September i had a gearbox failure. The breakdown assist was efficient and kept in contact with me during the process whereby a technician came and the vehicle was towed to kimberly. A rental vehicle was organised for me, which i am grateful. The only issue i have is that my warning triangle is missing and no one knows where it is, may i please get that back.

Upon further investigation of the cause of the breakdown it was found that liquid was spilled and the gear selector component was damaged. Now my question is, when the designers design the interior do they not put into account that where the cup holders and gear lever are situated, close to each other, There is a very high possibility of liquids spilling into that area and i feel that such damage i should not be paying for as this is a flaw in the design itself. The Audi that i drove for the past 5 years never had such an issue and in numerous occasions i had drinks spill in the area of the gear lever but never had a part failure. So what you guys are saying is that i must place any drinks in the cupholders or i have to take the vehicle to be repaired every now and then because of the flaw in your design. i had to pay R12,800.00 for the damage.

I was partially content with the service from the BMW in Kimberley when it came to repairs but prior to this incident i booked for service and the only thing that needed to be replaced were the rear brake pads. this information they knew prior to me arriving at the workshop. On the day of the service i arrived on time left the vehicle at the workshop only for them to call me 2hrs later to say they do not have brake pads and that they still need to order them. But how do they not have brake pads already ordered knowing very well that i have to drive 235Km to get the vehicle serviced. So i basically 470km with worn rear brake pads, a similar thing also occurred at BMW sandton. What i need to understand is that whether the BMW maintenance department understands the basics of work management because this could have easily been avoided had they planned their jobs correctly, to ensure that all the tools, equipment, labour and parts are available to execute to task correctly prior to me driving 650km or is it a matter of competence?

When my vehicle was at BMW and no point was i called and offered a courtesy vehicle which to my understanding i am entitled to so for 4 weeks i was left stranded without a vehicle.
