Refusing to take responsibility for Negligence
I am the latest victim of Leo Haese Centurion.
Took my car for service last Thursday and this guys at the dealer forgot to close the water coolant bottle.
On Friday morning while driving to Germiston the car started reporting that engine temperature is too high and I need to drive moderately.
Since I was going opposite South East Auto in Germiston I dropped the car in there and asked the guys to check for me why engine is overheating.
They immediately noticed that the water bottle was not closed and water had spilled out.
Negligence on the part of Leo Haese centurion and now they need to reimburse the South East dealer for work done. They tell me the Service manager is out of office and I should pay then we reconcile on Monday.
Monday they tell me they can reimburse me because on the job card it only shows that they replaced brake fluid, front brake pads and cleaned the rear pads. they claim they never touched the water cooler bottle. So they say it must have been me who tempered with that bottle.
Now tell me why I would be messing with the engine if the car was at service the previous day.
I am greatly disappointed at the way they treated me. I held them in high regard.
