Poor workmanship at BMW Bruma Auto, Johannesburg

On 27th Feb 2015, I took my car for repairs at BMW (Bruma - Bedford view, Johannesburg).

I was asked to pay for the replacement of the fuel pump, which I did . On driving for about 30 km the car was smelling fuel. On inspection I noticed that a lot of fuel was leaking from the fuel tank. This was a new problem which was not there before which put my family at risk of fumes and even fire

I took the car back to the same dealership and on inspection I was told that the fuel tank seals were not properly fitted...dirty. The customer service contact informed me that the car has been checked and everything was fine and safe.

On driving for about 50 km, the smell and Fuel leaking started again. I took the car back and complained about the repairs & inconveniences caused. The car was inspected and I was told that they have checked & everything is fine. I insisted on GOOD QC checks!. Only then did they note that Fuel Tank vapor canister is now blocked.

I asked the dealership to replace the unit at their cost as the unit damage relates to poor workmanship and they said NO!
I never expected such POOR service from BMW Bruma. I expected better QC and honesty like Mercedes
