Poor quality of car

I am in shock and in dis-belief after buying a bmw car and the amount of mechanical issues im experiencing. Within 6 months I had a problem with the turbo unit, last month the fuel pump and relay was replaced in Jhb, last week while on holiday in Durban the car is towed with a drive train failure and its still in the workshop unresolved with various faults.Stranded in Durban a service agent named Devan at Bmw smg umhlanga has been very helpful,who after 5 days arranged a car for us to get back home and courier our car to us when reaired. However its disappointing to hear that we can only keep the rental for 3days, so what happens after the 3 days? So if my car takes a week or two to be repaired im stranded without a vehicle which is crazy. Is this what we can expect from bmw which is under warranty. Truely regret buying a bmw!!! Would definitely not recommend a pre-owned BMW to anyone. Its strange how business ethics from one province changes to another.
