Paint Issues BMW X3 - G01

On my 2018 BMW X3 (G01) the clear coat on the bonnet is peeling off. I have contacted customer service and got the following reply: "Please also do note that BMW warranty is for 24 months from brand new and the vehicle is now 3 and half years old with that warranty unfortunately would not cover but the dealer is still willing to inspect the matter.

I hope the above is in order. ".

I visited also the Dealer (Auto Bavaria, Midrand) where the car was purchased, but also no help whatsoever. So be warned if you plan to spend in excess of R 1.000.000 for a new BMW as your paint might come off shortly after the warranty has expired.

Very disappointing after being a loyal BMW client for over 10 years.
