Mini - Stop milking money from the poor!!!

<p>Hello Peter,</p> <p> </p> <p>I took my car to Sandton Auto Mini Service Dept on the 27th of April 2017. I advised Pieter the agent that the car was leaking air-coolant and oil, I had to top up oil and water too often. I was advised that the cost of the repair would be R 14,745.98. I gave a go ahead and the work was done with a warranty of 2 years and I collected the car on the 2nd of May 2017. On the 30th of May, I emailed the agent to advise that I noticed that the car was still leaking oil when parked overnight. There was no response. Eventually on the Thursday the 13th of July I booked the car in for service stating that it was leaking oil. On Monday the 17th of July the agent advised me that the cost would be R10 000 to fix the car as the leak was on the vaccum pump. I advised the agent that I do not have that kind of money and questioned why it was not diagonised when I brought it in May. He said he will speak to his manager to see if he can get a discount but still came back to advise me that it will cost the same amount. I advised him that I would collect the car the following day as I don’t have a cent in my bank account. I collected the car without it being fixed.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am so unhappy with this kind of treatment that I have received considering that I have been using the same dealer for +-4 years. I have paid thousands of rands to BMW, when the car went out of motorplan I was told that after it reaches 150 000km I can no longer renew motor/maintenance plan now I have to fork out cash I do not have.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want my car fixed R 14,745.98 is a lot of money to pay money that I do not have and the work done is not satisfying.</p>
