left dealership with malfunctioning hand brake under motorplan. manager refused to repair

• On the 2nd of February, car went in to Autobahn Bmw isando for a handbrake adjustment amongst other things (E93 M3). I was told the handbrake has been adjusted but my car still rolls on steep hill when handbrake is on its last notch. Spoke to service the manager (Edward Nell) and demonstrated to him, he told me that it is a normal characteristic of all bmw E90’s and was very hesitant to fix it. car was underplay. Even he personally took the car to a slope and the car STILL rolled in his presence. I was baffled as to how this can be a typical characteristic of an EMERGENCY BRAKE, such a critical safety related system??? I had to admit defeat due to the frustration expressed towards me by the service manager Edward Nell. A formal job card was opened for my handbrake to be repaired under motorplan but after my car spent 3days at the dealership, the handbrake was still not working! The audacity of a service manager to undermine and patronize my technical acumen by telling me that and I quote “This is a Typical characteristic of all BMW E90’s”…. really??! He refused to repair my handbrake and restore it back to spec even after he personally drove my car around the dealership and confirmed that INDEED the emergency brake is not working! (CCTV footages of can confirm this!) I complained TWICE to telephonically to the customer care follow up call and at both times have been promised that the “dealer principal” would contact me, needless to say that never happened. I had no choice but to drive out the dealership in a car with a malfunctioning emergency brake! Only after the service manager realised that I am escalating the matter, he contacted me a few days later requesting me to bring the car to the dealership on the 16th feb to have the system checked…. Why now? why the change in attitude suddenly? Can I even trust the workmanship after such an ordeal?

• My car’s rear bumper was bumped by the same dealership, a substandard repair work was performed on the bumper… when I returned back to the dealership to complain about this, I was told my Edward Nell that the damaged area on the bumper was different from the one that was repaired. To resolve the dispute, I then requested him to produce documentation of the repair work in order to verify his claims to which he failed to produce stating that he has no records of the repair work….

• In the past year, my car has been booked twice at Autobahn BMW for a “Battery Critically Discharged “ error. In both occasions I was told that it was due to a tracking device which has been removed (twice??) and reassured that the issue is resolved… to date, I am still experiencing the very same battery issue. This has ruined my driving experience with the car since MOST comfort features (comfort access, home safe lights, remote roof opening/closing etc..) of the car have been disabled due to the battery issue… I have learned to accept and live with this due to being worried of my car spending yet another night at Autobahn just for it to return with the issue unresolved and another bumper damage.

Yes I could’ve taken my car to a different dealership but Autobahn Isando has a convenience factor because it’s just down the road from home.
