Incompetence at its best!

I went to this dealership lookng for a quotation, which i was promised to receive by email by end of business that day. I needed three quotations so this was the first branch i went to, first thing in the morning.I was actullay the first person to be assisted that morning. Four days of calling them and asking them i finally received one, unfortunately for me they were the cheapest.

When i took my car there the insurance i was claiming from had had a deal with them. the deal was should further damages be identified during rapairs, the dealership will notify the insurer immediately so that they add to the agreed upon amount. Pictures to prove firther damages should be taken and sent as proof. Also, should there be price increases on parts in between, that too shoud be communicated immediately. the branch never cared to do as agreed. They went ahead and purchase the parts , repair my car and called me to say my car was ready i must come collect. When i go there, the money that was agreed upon had increased.

When i asked them if the insurer was made aware as agreed, they started telling me stories about how they cannot be involved blah blah. But you cannot start to distance ourselves now but expect payment. You agreed to an X amount and for any additions to be communicated to the insurer. After deliberartions a left with a promise that follow-up will be made to the insurer and that i will be updated by end of the day.

End of the day came, nothing. This morning i called the insurer myself and they had only received the invoice this morning, when they had clearly said, the moment you identify anything that will give rise to the price agreed upon, let us know.

What ****es me off even worse is when i spoke to the second in command of that branch this morning, Mr Daniel he became very defensive and started expaining to me how 3rd party claimes work.Mr daniel, i wasnt calling you about that, your resposnibility, which your brach agreed to was to notify the insurer of further damages that gave rise to the price that you agreed upon, not to tell me how what works, that is not your respnsibility.I know very well what i need to know regarding that. Now why did you not inform te insurer about the price increase the moment you find out? Did you not underatd the letter sent to you by them?

Anyone reading this must just stay away from your branch, i have never seen such unproffessionalism in my life!
