Early termination of Motor plan
I purchased my BMW on 24 June 2011, this vehicle was brand new. I noticed that my motor plan expires on 27 February 2016 - this did not make sense to me as the transaction occurred on 24th June 2011 so the motor plan should expire during the same time. When I queried with BMW customer care, I was told that the motor plan was activated on 28/02/2011 because the dealership had to register the car on their name, load it on the system hence the motor plan activation. Sadly when I purchased this vehicle the salesman did not mention to me the details of the early expiry date of my motor plan. Now that the dealership from where I purchased my vehicle has closed. BMW is now telling me that there is nothing that they can do as it was a franchise dealership & I need to go to the Motor Industry Ombudsman for assistance. I am extremely appalled on the stance of BMW along with the fact of a finger pointing exercise & NOT WILLING to assist their current customer. All I am requesting is that BMW do not terminate my motor plan on 27 February 2016 BUT terminates it on 24th June 2016. I was going to trading my vehicle for NEW BMW but after this terrible experience I will certainly NEVER buy a BMW.
