Do not purchase a BMW with a M sport pack

Purchased a new BMW X3 35I in October 2011. Its 4 years old now, The black satin trimming around certain windows (not all) started to fade around a year ago and has now gone purple. The black satin roof rails have also started to peel paint and they have never been used.<br> <br> I would not recommend purchasing a M sport pack on a BMW if you plan on keeping it for longer than 3 years as this is when this started.<br> <br> When I called BMW their response was sorry its not under warranty. I find it strange that some windows have faded and others not. It can only mean a poor quality control at the factory or they all would have faded if it was too much sun on the car. Also the fact that the roof rails are pealing paint...this is just poor my in my opinion. I would expect the cars paint to last longer that 3 years. I decided to post on Hello Peter as I feel BMW too easy just shrugs off customers and does not adequetly address poor workmanship. its a pity a product of this design is let down by inferior quality.<br> <br> <br> <br>
