dishonesty/ **** permit

Hi, i would like to report the dishonesty happening at Bmw bedfordview. I purchased a beand new 320mspirt from Bmw bedfordviewon the 15.04.2016 , i was so excited yet asked the sales executive Matthew Thomas many times if everything was ready for collection, he assured me it was. When i collected the vehicle he gave me paper plates, a permit and was to advise when i would get the number plates. I believe in trust, honesty, integrity as i was purchasing a new vehicle from an approved dealership, not a junkyard. To my dismay, today i was stopped by the police. my husband, 19 month baby, mum n i were in the car, It was a horrid and terrifying situation, the police officer wanted to arrest my husband as the paper plates/permit i was given, was not for me, it was old permit for a vehicle with a different chassis number and when loojed at closeky, the salesperson had written over the original pen with a cocee pen which the police noticed, i never woukd have thought of such *****. Quite frankly how can an approved dealer commit such a crime.. I called Matthew thomas on his cell and asked him about it, he never denied that he doctered it, all he did was apologise. My husband was going to be arrested for something we trusted the dealer to do, matthew attempted speaking to the officer, it never worked. I asked him repeatedly for tge Dp phone number , after my 5 or 6 call he gave it to me. I have never experienced an encounter with the police, i had a crying baby, a husband that was going to be arrested on a public holiday and no court open, n i eventually burst into tears, the officer eventually eased off and advised we go home immediately. I then spoke to tge Dp who sincerely apologised. I believe that if Bmw has any values, people like me and my family would have not went through an ordeal like this, just because they have greedy sales people who want a sale and will commit ***** in order to deliver a vehivle. Truelly unhappy and disappointed in the purchase of a brand new vehicle.
