Consent is crucial

I saw a great offer on the bmw smg website. Went to the branch on somstseu road. I clearly stated i was interested in the offer only and nothing else. They did the financial check with bmw finance and it wasn't approved, which is completely fine with me. It should have ended there. Instead, they went ahead and chose another car of their choice and went ahead and did the financial check. Got it approved.all without even asking me if i am interested in the car which I had not even seen. If they just asked my permission I would have given my answer. What happened to protection of my information. This was such a violation. A credit check which I didn't even agree to is a terrible addition to my credit profile. Ask for permission first.
