Cheated death & suffered "Traumatic Experience" after BMW 118i (F20) 2013 blew into flames & completely burns 3 weeks after vehicle purchase.

On the 20th of October 2017, l bought a BMW 118i (F20) blue in color from a dealer (MotorDeal in Vereeniging) under the Impression that l was buying The Most Trusted Brand (Bavarian Motor Ways) little did l know that l was choosing my potential coffin that was to take me home in 3 weeks time. After collecting the vehicle, l felt l had achieved and made it in life yet l had activated a Ticking Bomb for my life. This was meant to be a weekend car as l have a small Ford Figo that l use for my daily routine drives to work and around. 3 weeks down the line on the 18th of November l decided to visit the Alberton Mall to get some groceries for myself in the morning around 10am so l went. Then l did a couple of shopping for both groceries and some items then decided to go back home (South Crest). Just as l approached the famous robots of Vortreeker just by the N3 offramp adjacent to the Albernate BMW then the robots closed. I stopped then waited for robots to open (mind you this is an Automatic with a Stop/Go function so no need to stress). Just as the robot opens then l take off to continue the trip home (just about 3km from home) then about 20m of the robot then l heard & saw a big blast from the bonnet (Without any Dashboard signals for any failures or attention notice) with smoke fusing out from the bonnet and coming into the car. Quickly l removed the seat belt and slowly utilized the last velocity of the car to take it off the road to the yellow lane. it wasn't a dream but reality, before l knew it the bonnet was now burning. I tried redeeming the car by disconnecting the battery but it was all a futile exercise. Some 3 guys came to assist with fire-extinguishers but all was fruitless. I felt the excruciating pain piercing my soul as l watched my vehicle burning down to ashes in just 45mins. By the time the Fire-Fighters arrived about 35 mins into the incident, it was all gone (will put pics on media for evidence). I am so traumatized by the event and feel cheated with the all the Trust & Love l had for the brand. I never thought anything of this nature would happen with a BMW (don't be fooled by badge) and driving on my way to work every day passing the same spot where the incident occurred even makes it more painful since its the only route to work. Am thankful that am still alive today but that incident left me shaking and I strongly feel BMW South Africa owes me a Huge Apology/Trauma Counselling Sessions/My Car Replacement/Groceries/Burnt Documents/Trust (List is endless). Just after graduating as a student, l never thought life would be so mean & traumatizing as this but BMW showed me flames.
