BRAND NEW CAR WITH OLD CAR TENDENCIES

hi I bought a new BMW 2 series gran coupe 218d and whenever I hit the brakes I can hear the diesel movement in the tank according to BMW Midrand that uncomfortable sound is normal. how true is that? I drove the car for a week then took it back to the dealer. They gave me 118d for a day and it didn't have the normal sound.
