BMW(Best ****** Weapon) Drivetrain Error (Products before lives)
I Own a F30 BMW 318i 2016 which I purchased from SMG in September 2019 and the service was outstanding from purchasing and booking services everything. I used to drive a Ford and due to customer experience at Ford when I saw the ford Kuga’s burning up and Ford refusing to treat customer’s fairly until many people had to lose their life’s because of the car’s going in flames I taught I would not be putting my family in danger with a company that first listens when a live is lost therefore I went for a brand like BMW because after doing research they say they apply TCF which I don’t believe today.
On the 10/12/2020 I drove to Port Elizabeth for a funeral from Gauteng I drove up perfectly fine and returning on 12/12/2020 while driving back and stopping at Engen in Bloemfontein to top up my fuel this was at 19:00pm I then went back on the road and after 10 mins in my drive I had a drivetrain warning up saying Drivetrain Continue the journey at a moderate speed. Full performance not available. Have the problem checked by service After this warning I decided to drive between 80-100km/h and follow what the BMW is saying to continue my journey and after 2+ hours in the drive towards Kroonstad tolls going towards an uphill in the slow lane wasn’t a matter of listening to the client or taking the matter up or doing a further check within the cause of the damages I’m told the error before the accident was the injectors which is at fault now this explained why the car gave me a jerk and pulled stiff however they dispute the fact that the car could throw me from the left to the right and I informed the lady the road was wet as per the policy report I could not control the car it dragged and done a 180 degree spin to the right lane hitting to barrier on the oncoming lane. The fact that a vehicle traveling alone can be thrown of the road BMW feel that by traveling at a moderate speed on a wet road the vehicle should have been controlled and kept on the road where a car is now sliding due it not getting power from the engine which the only error is the injectors are not feeding fuel to the engine.
With all this said do we as customers always first have to pay with our lives before someone gets the picture at consumers first Ford done it and never listened to customers now BMW is doing something similar they say we can continue our journey with an error and when something happens they move the error to a human error and it can’t be their product. My car is still saying continue your journey at a moderate speed with all the damages and can’t move even with all the other new things on the dash my problem is the car still does not say have the car stationed and towed to a service partner and I informed Felicia no matter how dangerous the error is BMW system will still continue to tell us to continue the journey which they feel is amber.
Finally, which I found to be the most horrific part of the conversation was when I said BMW tells us to continue your journey which I felt is a suicide mission Felicia stopped me and said, “it’s not BMW who said that it’s your vehicle”. Guys BMW will produce a product and everything popping up on the dash it’s not BMW it‘s your vehicle but who program this cars to have this errors popping up and feels it’s safe for us to drive isn’t it BMW and when something happens than it’s the vehicle. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST BMW (BEST ****** WEAPON) experience I would say to everyone reading this consider your options well before purchasing a BMW and TCF is something I strongly don’t believe they apply after a sale.
any advice from Hello peter regarding my experience will be appreciated?
Leonardo.
