BMW Vereeniging - Stay Away - Far Away - Lying, Deceiving, Dishonest

Unprofessional, lying, deceiving and utterly dishonest that is BMW Vereeniging. My elderly father was looking to purchase a vehicle, saw a Polo online at BMW Vereeniging. A salesman called Innocent was very quick to bring the vehicle to me to test drive. When I drove the vehicle I remarked about 3 things that needed to be attended to: 1. The vehicle needed a service. 2. The vehicle had incorrect tools 3. Number plate was not affixed to the vehicle as it should be. Innocent assured me that all of these items would be attended to. My parents parted with over R200 000 of their hard earned cash and purchased the vehicle. On 24 September they drove up from KZN to collect the vehicle. With much fanfare and pictures the vehicle was collected in Vereeniging. Arriving in Pretoria later that day, I asked my father if the vehicle had been serviced. He said that Innocent informed him that the vehicle had indeed been serviced. The moment I stepped into the vehicle and turned the key, the “INSP” notice was still on the cluster. Innocent had blatantly **** to us all. I contacted him and asked why he did not make good on his commitments. He never properly acknowledged my concerns and only offered to have the vehicle collected from Pretoria to take to Vereeniging to be serviced. We conceded and the vehicle was collected on Friday and serviced. With incredible inconvenience to my parents. The vehicle was eventually returned on Saturday 27/09. Still the toolkit is still incorrect and there is no handle for the jack. The passenger seatbelt is missing its’ housing, three out of the four tyres do not have valve caps. What is worse now the vehicle has to be registered… The license expired on 30/09/2025. Innocent is ignoring my father’s calls and now they have an unregistered vehicle. I would not recommend BMW Vereeniging to anyone. Stay far far away. If it was your elderly parents… How would you feel?
