BMW unable to fix their own cars.

Hi BMW, I drive a 325iS 2007 model BMW. In December2018 I took it in to SMG Tygervalley for a problem that caused the car to jerk and miss while idling and loosing power. They replaced the non return valves on the cylinder head at a cost of R3950. The problem came back in December and the car went backand they replaced the VANOS gears at a cost of R19500. On March the 19th the same problem has once again returned and I had to take the car in for further checks and repairs at a price of R3200.

Unfortunately the problem has once again returned. This means I have now spent a total of R26650 on this car at SMG Tygervalley and it is still not fixed.

It's starting to look to me like BMW has no idea how their cars work and just haphazardly replace parts in the hope that they fix the problem by chance. This is absolutely unacceptable that one expects professionals to work on your car, but you just don't seem to get the service you should. I'm at the end of my tether and don't know how to continue this any further without some assistance from real actual professionals.
