BMW SUCKS!!!
I collected my car on the 25th of May 2020 after it had been at Zambesi Arc for Repairs since November 2020. On the day of collection I refueled the car and noticed that the fuel gauge was not working as it should, I had put in a Full tank of fuel but the gauge refused to move past the 1/2 tank mark. I immediately drove back to Zambesi and on the 20mins drive the gauge began to move. Then I arrived at the dealership where I was told some terrible excuses by the workshop manager who clearly doesn’t know cars that this was normal. Mind you this is not my first BMW but it may just be my last. I experienced issues each time I refueled the car and I called in several times to get my car booked in, each time I was told that someone will call me, this went on for over a month with no calls back. Eventually I got a call on the 6th of July, I was asked to bring the car in on 8th which I did, then I was offered a car that was not road worthy and I refused to drive that car. I was told I would have my car back no later than the 10th of July, I have to keep calling to get feedback which I never get and no one bothers to call unless I do. I pay a heavy installment of R14K for my 2018 BMW X3 and I would like to know who would want to pay for a car that isn’t In their possession for so long? Is BMW Southern Africa giving such poor service to such a premium brand?? I want answers, I’m tired of such poor service!! I will escalate this matter to Discovery Insurance aswell and the Financing Bank!!
