BMW Service - Not what it use to be.

Took my car for a Service, BMW SA cancelled my motor Plan because of after market exhaust. I can understand this, however I had to still pay for my service, which should still be covered under my 5 year plan, as I am not making a claim. BMW expects you to service your car at a BMW dealer, and then they don't want to pay, and the price of a Service if you pay cash is between 7-13k.

I spoke with BMW SA, and explained them that if I had fitted the exhaust at BMW as an extra that is not harmful to the car, but doing the same exhaust out of BMW is? They response was "sorry we cannot help you".

Be careful when purchasing a BMW as you sign for the Motor plan to except all the conditions, BMW seems like they are just cancelling the Plan for any reason so that the clients have to pay cash for Services.

Been a BMW owner for over 14 years, and think this will be my Last.
