BMW SA how long does it take to get a part

I bought a 1 series at BMW menlyn. I drove it a week and it gave me a message of engine temp high. I called the dealership and they said I must bring it in. I was on course . When I got back I sent it in immediately . That was on the 4th of December. It's now the 13th and all I hear is that they are waiting for the part (cylinder head) I believe it is. So how does it work. Iv been patient this whole time. Now I'm so tired I'll gladly take my money back because I'm not getting joy. I'm paying monthly installments for a car I dnt get the pleasure of driving. I just hear BMW is a pleasure to drive. I just know the pleasure of paying for it to be in the garage
