BMW SA Failure to investigate an INCIDENT/Accident Caused by their defective tyre

My Nephew had a serious incident on R21 towareds OR Tambo where the vehicles FRONT RHS TYRE disintergrated and dislodged from the Rim, the incident has not been investigated by BMW SA. no interest has been shown by BMW SA at all. my Nephew is currently in the UK, he was leaving that evening. the matter was refferd to the insurance compony as an accident. but spontaneous tyre feilre is not an accidet. this is BMW 1Series that drives around urban areas. i have pictures and response by BMWSA. this is a costly incident. That required someone to investigate it. MINDYOU THE TRYE CAME WITH THE VEHICLE FROM THE DEALERSHIP. this is an issue of cradle to grave. they should investigate their suppliers in order to make sure that this type of incident doesnot cost anybody their lives. if my Nephew was not a skilled driver a lot worse could have happened. the emotional toll on the family has been imense.
