BMW SA

I feel so ****** by BMW South Africa. This year mid May 2018, I asked for a quote for renewing my motorplan as I knew it was expiring end of May 2018, however overlooked the kilos. BMW responded swiftly as always . I was sent the quote , because I wanted to make sure that the motorplan is renewed I didn't check the millage . Sometimes as a customer you forget these things . The millage was +\-69 000 km was only left with a few Kms to reach 75 000 km. Either way that employee sent a qoute of R12k, and I paid. One would expect that a person who works with clients would advise ,if am aware that am left with only a few kms before the 75 000km stated in the contract. The contract was saying expiry was either end of May 2018, or 75 0000 km. Again I assumed that seeing that am 69k they would add kms , no they didn't the focus was just on the 75 000 km. It became a nightmare yesterday when I took my car for service. I feel BMW SA blamed only me and did see anything wrong with what that guy did. I feel it is negligence and robbing clients. Clients make mistakes and when you work with clients it's your duty to show them their blind spots ,of witch this specific BMW employee failed to do. I thought BMW was the best now perception has really changed because of this silly mistake. So I ended up taking my car back, yet again I don't have a choice I have to book it in for service and pay an amount of R9 000 ( after being ******). I feel so helpless and angry at the same time. Maybe I expected a written apology or something but the matter was left as is that I just have to pay the R9 000. This is very hard lesson I have learned but I still emphasize the issue of educating clients and customer service .the contract number is :Contract No. ********** 028. The reason am writting this is beause I ask myself how many clients have lost because they didn't properly look at their contract? And were not cautioned . Again what is the role of the BMW employees. We might as well be helped by machines because they do not care about serving clients with dignity. I hope you find the above in order. Keabetswe
