BMW owners living in Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand - beware!

<p>I drive a 3 series BMW which I bought in 2015. I had a few scratches and a small dent which I had to get to the panel beaters to fix. I contacted my insurance and was told I can only use 1 of 2 panelbeaters for this - one in Montana and one in Midrand. I used Auto Body Specialists in Midrand and this is where my problems started. Firstly note that ABS was 25% more expensive than the original non-BMW accredited panel beater who I asked for a quote. Secondly their service is abosultely some of the worst that I have ever encountered and thirdly, they did a poor job. The car was there for double the time thay said it would take to fix and you could clearly see where they worked on it. After probably the 6th contact with the manager, Donald Diamond, my car was repeared again. Unfortunatley you can still see the difference in paint colours between the old and repaired body. Being a reasonable person, I then contacted BMW to do an assessment of the work performed - if they are satisfied with the work done by their "accreddited" panel beater, why should I then complain. I have not received any feedback from BMW. so, between the insurance, car manifacturer and the panel beater, we the public are being *****ed in broad daylight and there is absolutely NOTHING that I can do, except complain here. BMW drivers - be ware!!!!</p>
