BMW - I'm learning the hard way!!!

<p>I bought BMW X5 and the brakes were changed at 30 000km under motorplan. At 60 000km the brake disc were changed because I was having brake problems. From 54 000km - 97 000km I travelled to virtually every dealership in Gauteng to try and solve the issue. All along I'm told that my brakes are more than healthy. Infact at 97 000km I was told that the keyreader shows that I have 58 000km (back) and 28 000km(front) to go. Surely they must have physically checked and there's nothing wrong with the brakes, right? Wrong!!! Come 102 000km, the another message appears stating that the brakes are worn. I take the car to BMW and I'm told that according to the keyreader the brakes are still fine. Physical inspection reveals that the brakes are loooong worn. Now the interesting part: BMW SA say the following:<br />1. It cannot be determined when the sensors failed,</p> <p>2. The brakes must have been fine (58 000km to go) at 97 000km but completely worn at 102 000km,</p> <p>3. The fact that my brakes were not physically checked all these times doesn't mean anything, they were fine</p> <p>4. The keyreader readings at 97 000km are OK but the one at 102 000km are not OK</p> <p>5. Here is the famous one: Motorplan has expired</p> <p>6. Therefore unfortunately these things happen and BMW will not replace your brakes or hear your story anymore. we are closing the case.</p> <p> </p> <p>That's how BMW service is folks and either hope that nothing wrong happens to yours or else. I'm guttely disppointed with the brand that I doubt if I will buy another BMW car or give positive feedback about the brand to anyone. </p> <p> </p> <p>I'm done with BMW, PERIOD!</p>
