BMW Helderview Strand must be the worst BMW service centre in the country.

<p>My 540 BMW was missing a beat whenever I stopped at a traffic light or stop street, so I took it in to BMW Strand on 12 may 2016. The invoice states that they “checked breather system to find breather blocked”. The invoice states that they replaced an “INTAKE MANIF JHB” at a total cost of R3237.55, which included R1514.00 labour. I drove to Cape Town the following day and the problem is exactly as it was before the “service”. I then requested a copy of the diagnostic report on 17 May at 8h30 and again at 17h00. It is now 6 June 2016 and I have still heard nothing! I strongly suggest you go elsewhere.</p>
