BMW dissappoints and leaves me worse off!

I am so upset right now. I got a message from BMW SA that my BMW X5 is recalled for passenger and driver side airbags. This is a 2013 model which I have been looking after so carefully after buying it two years ago from a dealership. Now suddenly they pick up a dangerous and lethal airbag issue. How many times could I have died because of this if I was to be in an accident? So, I made a booking with BMW East Rand. I drove 125km and took my car there and received it back the afternoon and drove 125km back at my own cost. They never did any checks on the vehicle and reported no errors on my vehicle to me, as there was none. If there was, they would have noted this and asked me if they should repair any current errors. When I drove away my handbrake light came on and said it failed. I thought I would leave ti to Monday as it was after 5 already and BMW East rand must be closed by now. Monday I called them promptly and noted the issue. I also noted that the cruise control suddenly also is not working any more. I took it to them today around 14:00 and waited an hour and a half and the mechanic along with the Production Manager came out. They said to me this is not their problem. I said to them but it was 100% when I brought it and their protocols should prove this...because they must do checks before commencing and after right? Apparently they didn't.

I am a BMW man for life. This is my 4th BMW vehicle and my second BMW motorbike. I also bought my daughter a 2015 BMW X3. So this is quite shocking that I give my car to BMW for an error on their airbags and receive it back in worse condition afterwards.

Unacceptable from such a quality brand!
