An organization that don’t care (Witbank BMW and BMW South Africa)
An organization that don’t care (Witbank BMW and BMW South Africa)
Took my vehicle for a service and a faulty braking system on Wednesday, 29 June 2022 to Witbank BMW. Called later in the afternoon to ask if the vehicle was ready to be collected. Then was told they still working on the braking system it is not yet on the acceptable BMW standard. Thursday called again as they don’t bother to give feedback or progress and was told the electronic machine that assists with the brake repairs is broken so they are doing everything manually, however the vehicle will be ready for collection on Friday morning at 9am. Friday after 9am I called them again and they tell me they are still battling with the brake system and they don’t know when the vehicle will be ready. Decided to go and collect the vehicle on Friday afternoon as l needed it by now.
During the course of Friday morning I call BMW South Africa (in Pretoria) to complain about the poor workmanship service rendered at Witbank BMW on my vehicle. Am told they will investigate and they will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. Monday, 04 July 2022 I get a call late in the afternoon from BMW South Africa asking about the condition of my car, I tell them it is worse, brakes takes forever to hold. Then, am told they will arrange for me to take the vehicle to another BMW branch, and up to today nothing has happened.
All am left with is an ineffective braking system by BMW Witbank, and just a case number ***) from BMW South Africa, and a conclusion that BMW does not care about their customer(s).
