Complaint

I saw someone's whatsapp status that call centre agents were needed at Blue Mercury. I contacted the same person and she informed me to come for an interview on the 5th January 2022 and it was successful. I was informed to start training on the 12th January 2022. I reported on the 12th January 2022 for training, training lasted for 5 days. There were no complaints with training. Training ended on the 18th January 2022. Unfortunately on the 18th January 2022 when I got home from training I was informed that my grandmother passed away the previous night at 23:00 I messaged my trainer Chris Govender Informing him of my grandmother's passing and requested if i could take off for the funeral preparations, he agreed and said its okay. Monday the 24th January 2022 i reported for duty. We had a short meeting, then went to our desk and started working. I sat on the corner and on my right was Yasdan. Yasdan made remarks towards me that was very monotonous and it made me feel uncomfortable. His jokes were weird and it made me feel really uncomfortable, it happened on a regular basis (as in daily). The other guy cheslin a team leader took me, Shaznay and Angelique from the floor and took us to his desk to show us a quote from another lady who worked there, but during work talk he would also talk about things that was inappropriate. I couldn't deal with it. Monday the 31st January 2022 I went to work and we had team meetings. Cheslin asked me what's the way forward and i informed him I'm going to resign as the work place was not conducive for me with all the harassment, jokes and inappropriate talks. He said it's okay. I also thought i would get back what i spented going to and from work. On February 1st 2022 I only received salary to the amount of R 200. I was so shocked i asked another employee who started with me if he also received t he same amount he said no. I personally feel Treated unfairly and i would like to request an investigation into the matter. I spented money on public transport and later got a lift club whom i could not even pay due to me being only paid R200. I'm extremely unhappy
