Unacceptable Experience with Blue Label Telecoms - *****ulent Subscriptions and Poor Customer Service

My mother and I had a distressing experience with Blue Label Telecoms/Connect, and I'm sharing it to warn others. In May 2025, we discovered a mobile content subscription. We immediately contacted Blue Label Telecoms twice (in May 2025) to enquire about the subscription and, shockingly discovered it was under two unfami**** numbers, dating back to 2007. We requested a cancellation and a refund. However, despite multiple follow-ups, the subscription remained active, and she continued to receive bills (till July 2025).

On 16th July 2025, we called again to check on the progress, and was asked to provide statements, which we emailed on 21st July 2025. On 13th August 2025, we followed up once more, only to find that the subscription was still active, and she were being billed.

The company's response has been unhelpful and unprofessional. They repeatedly promised to escalate the matter, but no action was taken. When we asked to speak with someone from the relevant department, we were given a number that led us to Lepard Group, a software development company that claimed no knowledge of Blue Label Telecoms or their referrals. And apparently they have been receiving calls from numerous people saying they are referred by Blue Label Connect. Called them again and they said they would escalate and get back to us within 24hours. 10 working days later, and still no form of communication from them.

This experience suggests *****ulent activity and a lack of accountability within Blue Label Telecoms/Connect. We are extremely disappointed in their customer service and business practices. Potential customers should exercise caution when dealing with this company.

Not Blue Label Connect coming back to me and tell me that “the product was taken up in store by the customer, the customer would have had to have swiped her store card in store to obtain the product, therefore no refund is due.”

I mean who in their right mind would take up a product that benefits two numbers that does not belong to them? Kannete mara!?

This all just screams ‘*****ulent activity’! And that is clearly how they make their money. Them responding is just a tick-box exercise and no meaningful solution will be provided. They couldn’t even provide the proof of the so-called product taken up by swiping the card in store.
