SIM CARD CONTRACT CANCELLATION

6 months ago, I took up a sim card contract with RCMS through my Jet Store account,. It's a known fact that cancellations are done a month prior the end of the agreed term, which was 6months in this case.

On the 15 January, I went to the East Rand mall Jet store to have the contract cancelled and was given a reference number and told to expect a call from RCMS within 24hours to confirm cancellation.

A week later, I went to the Carnival City Jet store to have themm follow up on the matter but was told to wait for their call within 24 hours.

Three weeks later, still no call so today I went to the Alberton Jet store and we tried for quite a number o f times to reach RMCS and with three different consultans, we were told to hold thevline while they check of my contract had been cancelled but surprisingly all consultants hung up on us whilst we were holding the line.

I'm not prepared to pay RCMS for longer than the agreed term and will not be held liable for the extension of the contract because I cancelled well in advance. They should sort this out asap.
