RMCS - what the ****

I get an SMS on my phone that a contract has been concluded on my cell number. I phone vodacom they tell me it is because I have an account with edgars. I ask voda to cancel it they refer me to rmcs. I must use up my airtime to cancel a contract I never requested to begin with. How is it legally correct to conclude a contract on my behalf without my consent?
