Misleading and cancellation information
Today I walked in at Jet Bellville at 12:14 a sales consultant by the name of MOHLATSE SEPORO approached me with an offer to get R230 airtime that include 100 sms for FREE and I'll also get R115 airtime with 100 sms' every month for the next 6 months for R39 a month if I have an Edcon account and i can cancel it anytime if I no longer feel I need it. I signed up for it without thinking about it but realised after paying for my shopping that I don't need it, I went back to him at 12:35 And told him I want to cancel as I realised I don't need it since I use data most times. He gave me a dirty attitude telling me I must read at the back of the card as I cannot cancel once i've accepted the offer, I told him that he did not mention any cancellation policy when he sold the product And I wanted to speak to someone from this company, he told me I should use my airtime to call them until I demanded to use the store' phone to call RMCS customer care. I was informed at RMCS that I need to call after 48 working hours as my details Will will not appear and there's a POSSIBILITY that it can be cancelled but that cannot be guaranteed that was confirmed by a team leader by the name of YOLISWA. It states cat the back of this card " you may cancel it by providing with a one 1 month notice by contacting the Call Centre and obtaining a reference number for cancellation". I'm glad I realised early never want to deal with a company that provides misleading information.
