****med by Blue Label Connect

Some many years back I bought a mobile phone from Edgars, cash and with a pay-as-you-go sim card for my son. On 15 March 2024 my son lost his phone. I immediately replaced the phone and tried to do a sim swap when Vodacom advised that they cannot do a sim swap without an authorisation letter from Blue Label Connect as the sim was not a pay-as-you go but rather a contract. Flabbergasted I went to Edgars to find out how this happened. Apparently Blue Label Connect sent an sms with a link offering R55 monthly airtime and when you click on the link you automatic change from pay-as-you-go to contract. That's a topic for another and screams 702 and Wendy Knowler.

Now this letter from Blue Label Connect is meant to take three to five days. It been 10 days and when I call Blue Label Connect is get a different story every time. They either blame Edgards or Vodacom for the delay. All I want is for my son to get his number back, I mean for crying out loud!

Good day,

We apologise for the bad service you received.

Please provide us with the number in question for us to assist and also confirm if you did get the authorisation letter?

Reviewer Update
Almost a week later since i responded privately to Nkundele from Blue Label Connect furnishing him/her with the telephone number in question and I am yet to receive this damn letter. How long, pray tell does it take to get a simple letter which was initially requested on or about 25 March 2024. I cannot begin to explain the frustrations we have experienced from simply not having access to that telephone number. I am being held to ransom by Blue Label Connect. Can someone higher up, PLEEEEEEEEEEASE HELP!
