******* Airtime Contract

I'm writing on behalf of my mother who has been trying to cancel the airtime contract which was *******ly activated on her JET account no: ********** ********** 670907 without her permission or knowledge.

She went to the JET store (Polokwane) on numerous occasions in an attempt to de-activate the said contract but in vain. In fact my mother everytime she went to the store she was told that it is resolved but the SO-CALLED RMCS never stopped sending the airtime to her. My mother is illiterate and I strongly believe that Edcon/RMCS are taking advantage of that.

I advised my mother to never use the airtime until the problem is resolved, however, she is unable to load her own airtime and use it without spending anything on their ******** airtime. This is frustrating for my mother and I am not going to sit back and do nothing about this.

Couple of months ago I called their call-centre number ********** and me and my mother spoke to a certain lady called PHINDILE who gave us a reference number ********** 116995 and she confirmed that the services will be de-activated - but to date nothing has been done. I made it very clear that if they do not stop - I will advise my mother to stop paying the JET ACCOUNT altogether but because my mother still want to use the Jet Account - I felt I needed to contact them again.

Well, before I write this email - I called the number ********** held for 20+ minutes until the line cuts me off.

I find this unacceptable and ******** and therefore demand that the airtime agreement be called with IMMEDIATE EFFECT - failing which I will have to advise my mother accordingly.

She will stop paying your accounts Edcon Account altogether if this is not resolved.

She is very old and therefore would not require any Credit from anyone.
