disconnected number after i requested rmcs to take my number back to vodacom

hi i requested that you guys take my number back to prepaid and i was assisted by a lady named gausitwi. she told me that my number has been put back to prepaid but ever since that day i cannot make or receive any calls, when i try to make calls it says my number has been "rerutted to recorded announcement and i should contact my service provider. can you please kindly assist me with locating the problem because i use that number for work purposes
