Blue Label Connect

Dear Consumers. I do not take writing this review likely. But I do believe that I need to warn fellow consumers of the supplier Blue Label Connect. With not doing my homework I app**** for a handset with Blue Label Connect.Four months into having the handset, the screen of the cellphone came apart from the handset and I was then left to contact the supplier Blue Label Connect and send the handset back for repairs. So a couple of days went buy and I decided to contact Blue Label Connect to inquire as to the repairs.I was then informed that assessment, not repairs can take between 14 and 21 working days. On day 35 I sent another email inquiring about the repairs and received the same reply.14 to 21 working days. On day 37 I received a call from Blue Label Connect call center and informed that the repair of the handed will cost me R950. Not being able to provide or tell me how the cellphone screen came apart from the handset.I was also informed in the same sentence that should I not except the quotation for repair I can pay Blue Label Connect a fee of R175 to return the handset broken back to me. As a consumer, not being given the choice if replacement of the handset as indicated by the consumer protection act I declined to Blue Label Connect via an email . It is not long after that that I noticed Blue Label Connect starting to debit my bank account on different dates of the month without my consent. Again today 13 of December 2023 without any written agreement or agreement from my side Blue Label Connect decided to debit my account . No permission was ever given to Blue Label Connect to do this. Just a word of good advice to all consumers that read this review. Be mindful and do yourself a favor, read the small print and ensure that the supplier you dealing with adhere to the consumer protection act. Stay away from Blue Label Connect as you will cause yourself much unwanted problems. I will most probably receive feedback from the supplier regarding this review, but let's be honest it just PR nonsense. The reply will most probably read, how sorry they are and that they looking into the matter. So for future consumers wanting to use Blue Label Connect, don't as you will quickly learn from your mistake

Good day Sir/Madam

We do apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this matter.
We also understand your frustrations but please be informed that when the device goes to assessment, they assess the damage of the device and what caused the damage. If they find that the device was damaged by liquid or physical damage, then client is liable for the cost of repairs. The 175 is for courier fees to send your device back to you should you choose not to go ahead with the repairs.
Thank you.
