Keep Blitz Fibre our of your complex!!!

If your complex is in talks with Blitz Fibre to rollout fibre in your complex, do everything in your power to stop it. We were very excited to learn that our complex will be receiving fibre, only to be left with an absolute nightmare of damage to our property by the Blitz Fibre contractors and now our Blitz Fibre nor our HOA seem to want to take responsibility. We were informed that fibre cabling would be installed underneath our brick paved driveways/walkways. I was absolutely shocked to discover that part of my tarred driveway was chopped up when I got home from work one evening. From there the nightmare started. I now have a patched up tar driveway with terrible attempt at painting it to try to blend it in. The black paint was also messed over the bricks and wall surrounding the tarred driveway, leaving it looking like a toddler painted it A real eyesore compared to what it was before. After the first rain my paved walkway has now sunken where it was lifted for the fibre installation, not to mention all the broken bricks which were just put back in place. We are a young couple who worked hard to purchase our first property and now left heartbroken and frustrated. This company is everything that is currently wrong with South Africa. Just another company that will ***** you over to make a quick buck.
