Yet another paid up letter not being issued by Blakes and Associates

I had an FNB Revolving loan account, which was being collected by Blake and Associates. I was contacted with a reduced settlement offer, which I fully paid on the 22 August 2018.

I was told that I will receive a paid up letter and my credit record would be updated, but since then till today, which is 14 days later, there has been no further communication from them.

My credit record has also not been updated. This is no professional and is much longer than the 7 days they indicated to me initially.

I have called numerous times, only to be told that it has been escalated and that they would re-escalate the issue. I have seen a few similar complaints regarding paid up letters on hellopeter, maybe this is how they operate????

Rachel Govender contacted me, apologised for the delay and was very friendly and courteous, explaining exactly the reason as to why there was a delay in issuing the paid up letter and ensured that I finally received it. Thank you Rachel.
